CRBC Party Secretary Yang Yongsheng Pays a Working Visit to Equatorial Guinea

From April 19 to April 21, a delegation led by CRBC Party Secretary and Deputy Chairman Yang Yongsheng and CRBC Vice President Wang Lijun paid a working visit to Equatorial Guinea. During the visit, they called on Prime Minister Vicente Ehate Tomi of Equatorial Guinea, his Excellency Gu Jiafeng, the Consul-General of Chinese Embassy in Bata and his Excellency Su Jianguo – Chinese Economic and Commercial Counselor in Equatorial Guinea. During the visit, they also inspected Equatorial Guinea Office and gave instructions.

Secretary Yang Yongsheng calls on Prime Minister Tomi of Equatorial Guinea

On April 21, the delegation called on Prime Minister Vicente Ehate Tomi of Equatorial Guinea at Malabo, the capital of Equatorial Guinea. They had an in-depth communication of CRBC’s business development in Equatorial Guinea and exchanged each other’s ideas on the contract negotiation and signing work for Malabo Fishing Industry Park. Prime Minister Tomi hoped that CRBC could be deeply rooted in Equatorial Guinea and benefit people of Equatorial Guinea.

Besides, the delegation also called on his Excellency Gu Jiafeng, the Consul-General of Chinese Embassy in Bata and his Excellency Su Jianguo, Chinese Economic and Commercial Counselor in Equatorial Guinea, and they had an in-depth discussion and communication on further carrying out the “Ten major cooperation projects between China and Africa”. During the talk, Mr. Yang Yongsheng introduced the strategies of CRBC and CCCC in detail. Both Mr. Gu Jiafeng and Mr. Su Jianguo expected that CRBC, as a leading unit of Chinese enterprises in Equatorial Guinea could continue to closely follow the national strategy, tap the development potential of Equatorial Guinea and become larger and stronger.

When in Equatorial Guinea, the delegation inspected the ongoing Bata-Bome-Bolondo Expressway Project(Proyecto de la Autovía Bata-Bome-Bolondo), Bata Port Project (Proyecto de la Ampliación y Modernización del Puerto de Bata) Malabo National Park(Proyecto del Parque Natural de Malabo) and the completed MBINI Bridge Project(Proyecto del Puente MBINI), expressed appreciation to the front-line workers and listened to the work report of the Office. Mr. Yang Yongsheng stated that Equatorial Guinea Office actively carried out the strategies of CCCC and CRBC, made the small country become large market through resource integration and high-end operation, made outstanding contributions to CRBC’s development and was the example of practicing “CCCC with five main fields” strategy overseas. He requires that the Office should overcome the difficulties and continue to keep a good development trend based on the market positioning of “a vital responsibility sharer of government and economic and social development of the project-host country, deep participant of the regional economic development and high-quality provider of public services purchased by the government”, further deepen the overseas practice of “CCCC with five main fields”, give play the leading role as a platform. Moreover, he requires that the Office should pay attention to improving seven abilities –planning, commerce, high-end contact, resource allocation, management and control of ongoing project, brand maintenance and team building.
