President of Equatorial Guinea Accompanies President of Uganda in Visiting the Malabo National Park and the Port of Bata

On August 26, the President Yoweri Museveni of Uganda visited the Malabo National Park and the Port of Bata built by CRBC during his visit to Equatorial Guinea in the company of Obiang Nguema - President of Equatorial Guinea.

On the morning of August 26, President Yoweri Museveni and President Obiang Nguema visited such landmark buildings as Tour Tower and Ethnic Park, and had lunch in Friendship Park Restaurant. After the lunch, President Yoweri Museveni wrote words for CRBC on the autograph book, speaking highly of the achievements made in the Malabo National Park Project.

In the afternoon, President Yoweri Museveni and President Obiang Nguema visited the Port of Bata. President Obiang Nguema has visited and inspected the port area for 19 times since it was commenced, and once praised it as a “Superior Project by the Chinese”. The Port of Bata is a super project in Equatorial Guinea, which fully displays the powerful technical strength and superior engineering quality of CRBC.

With a total land area of about 324,000m2, the Port of Bata is designed with various buildings with the total construction area of about 22,000m2, a 20,000 DTW wharf and a 50,000 DTW wharf with a total of 11 berths. It is the largest hydraulic project in Equatorial Guinea.

With a planned area of 870,000m2, the Malabo National Park is so far one of few large urban parks in Middle Africa and even the whole Africa, as well as a window for the Government of Equatorial Guinea to display their economic development and improvement of people’s livelihood.
