Introduction

China Road & Bridge Corporation (CRBC) is one of the first Chinese enterprise that entered construction and engineering business market in Malaysia since early nineties.

CRBC established its Malaysia Branch Office in 1992. With its vast experience and resources, CRBC were able to undertake large scale infrastructure project. The business activities of CRBC Malaysia began as early as 1993 attending the bid for road project known as “The Upgrading of Tasek Road in State of Perak” under the Public Works Department (PWD) of Malaysia. CRBC succeeded in its bid and in 1994 marked the history being the first foreign enterprise from China awarded directly as main contractor by the Government of Malaysia.

Starting from its inaugural road project in 1994, CRBC Malaysia moved forward and established many business ventures and cooperation with several local companies. Through its vast experience, abundant technical support and sound financial capabilities, CRBC participated and helped the locals to complete various important government projects.

By implementing localized management system, CRBC is able to integrate China management ethics, professionalism and work culture among local employees and the same adapt and cultivate good Malaysian business cultures and values into its internal operation. CRBC had succeeded in nurturing teamwork among employees of different races and establish good relationship with local consultants, finance institutions, manufacturers, suppliers, government authorities and the workers.
