Introduction
China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC) Congo-Brazzaville Office, established in July, 2002, is mainly engaged in contracting of such works as road, bridge, port, municipal works and housing construction in Congo-Brazzaville, and also does investment, trade and service businesses. At present, it has over 700 employees in Congo-Brazzaville. SONOCC the Office began to invest and operation in 2002 is the only cement manufacturer in Congo-Brazzaville, which changes the situation where the cement of Congo-Brazzaville completely depended on import at a high price, and greatly improves the local infrastructure construction and economic development. Congo-Brazzaville No. 2 Highway constructed in 2008 is the longest highway in Congo-Brazzaville. Congo-Brazzaville Office is undertaking projects include Congo-Brazzaville No. 2 Highway, Brazzaville Riverside Avenue, OYO Inland River Port, OYO Vocational and Technical School and OUESSO Airport Runway Reconstruction and Expansion Project.
Since 2007, the Office has been awarded Outstanding Contribution Award and Advanced Unit of CRBC; in 2011, SONOCC was awarded “An Excellent Enterprise in Fulfilling the Public Responsibility” by the Chinese embassy in Congo-Brazzaville.
