Originated from the Foreign Aid Office of the Ministry of Transport of China and as a pioneer engineering contracting company in China, CRBC has a history of nearly 60 years since it carried out its first aid task in 1958.

On March 1, her Excellency Zorana Mihajlovic - Vice Prime Minister and Minister of the Ministry of Construction, Traffic and Infrastructure of Serbia visited Section Surcin-Obrenovac of E763 Highway Project for inspection and guidance. Among the attendees were his Excellency Li Manchang- Chinese Ambassador to Serbia, Siniša Mali- Mayor of Belgrade City.
On February 28, Maria Gustava- Mozambique Ambassador to China visited the Maputo Bridge Project in Mozambique for work inspection in the company of Su Jian- Chinese Ambassador to Mozambique and Liu Xiaoguang- Counsellor of Economic and Commercial Counsellor’s Office of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Mozambique.
On February 26, 2018, the Consortium composed by CRBC and SMATP (a joint venture of CRBC and the Government of Madagascar) successfully won the bid for No. 43 National Highway Project in Madagascar.
On the morning of February 23, 2018, the last precast segmental beam of Hong Kong Liantang/Heung Yuen Wai Boundary Control Point and associated works - site formation and infrastructure works-Contract 6 was successfully hoisted and erected. With this, all the segmental beams for superstructure of the 4km viaduct have been erected.
Recently, a piece of good news comes from SONOCC that a total of 166,500 tons of cement were sold throughout 2017 (as of December 25, 2017), 40,000 tons over the annual sales plan, hitting a historical record.
